Waiting in the Wings
Seekers of Criterion behind-the-scenes tidbits, take note! Our own Susan Arosteguy speaks with the travel and culture website Museyon Guides in a two-part interview about our upcoming special edition of Wim Wenders’s Wings of Desire, which she produced. As the site’s interviewer explains, “Here at Museyon, we’re really interested in the relationship between places and movies,” so it’s no surprise that in the first installment they discuss Wenders’s depiction of Berlin. In part two, you can find out a little bit more about the Criterion producers’ process. As a bonus, Museyon has even put together a guide to the flim’s Berlin locations. Wings of Desire will be released in DVD and Blu-ray editions on November 3.
