Absolutely amazing art direction and set decoration in this one. Every little detail is so perfect to the characters. I know Anderson is known for his detailed set design but this one takes the cake for me. Should've been a Best Art Direction nominee, along with those amazing costumes as well.

Thoroughly agree. The Monopoly house on the pull string in the closet is genius.

As a huge fan of this movie, I sought out the house where this was filmed one year in Harlem and was surprised by its resemblence to its on-screen version. The house was huge, vacant and somewhat eerie. It was as though the ghosts of the Tenenbaums haunted it.
