The Los Angeles–based music producer Flying Lotus (born Steve Ellison) has been working in the electronic music field since the early 2000s.
Well known for producing the bumper music for Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, he has also collaborated with the likes of Thom Yorke, Erykah Badu, and Beck. He has released three award-winning albums on Warp Records (2008’s Los Angeles, 2010’s Cosmogramma, and 2012’s Until The Quiet Comes) and founded Brainfeeder, a record label dedicated to promoting new talent.

Terry Gilliam again, one of the best to ever do it. I think this film blew people’s minds when it came out. I wish I’d been able to see this one in a theater.

Crazy-ass experimental filmmaker who has given me plenty of ideas for my own personal work. This collection was put together beautifully, with the attention to all the fine details that it deserves.
