The organizers of All Tomorrow Parties in New York have tapped Jim Jarmusch to be a guest curator at this year’s event. The independent music festival (which for the last couple of years has featured a venue for screenings of movies selected in part by the staff of the Criterion Collection) will take place at Kutsher’s Country Club in Monticello, New York, over Labor Day weekend, September 3 through 5. Jarmusch’s own selections thus far include the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Raekwon, Girls, F*cked Up, the Black Angels, and Vivian Girls, with more to come.
