Edit List

For Better or For Worse, but primarily the latter, the enclosed 46 films are emblematic in some way, shape or form of the Trump Administration over the course of the last 100+ days.

Surely, it goes without saying that what follows is not an insult to the "tremendously successful" Criterion Collection and its library of "terrific" editions, but done for satirical effect.

"Believe me," "you'll never get bored with [all of the] winning" highlights included herein.

  • As of the creation of this list, appointees and nominees for top posts in Trump's Administration - - besides Trump - - include: Tillerson; Mnuchin; Mattis; Sessions; Carson; Perry; Pruitt; Priebus; Kushner; Spicer and Bannon

  • It's rumored that due to security reasons, Trump is #AfraidOfStairs ... which explains his penchant for escalators and other motorized conveyances.

  • #BorderCrossing and securing our borders

  • #FakeNews

  • Despite much turmoil, Trump stated that the White House Administration is running like a "fine-tuned machine."

  • #AfraidOfStairs

  • As tensions escalate with North Korea, Trump has called for tough sanctions on Pyongyang and the presence of the USS Michigan is meant to send a strong message enclosed in a thermonuclear envelope.

  • Seriously, how DO they sleep at night?

  • #MelaniaAndTrump

  • (as of this posting, 4/30/17) aka what happened to Counselor to POTUS, Kellyanne Conway

  • #BuildTheWall

  • Unless it's Fox, it's #FakeNews

  • Remember when Melania delivered that convention speech ... and Trump commissioned that inauguration cake ... and ...

  • An apt summation!

  • Again, an apt summation!

  • Why do multiple Russian diplomats keep unexpectedly dying? #RussianCollusion

  • #MOAB

  • #BorderCrossing and securing our borders #BuildTheWall

  • ... #FakeNews

  • Building a Wall and making Mexico pay for it
    Immigration Ban
Full repeal and replace of Obamacare
    Defeating ISIS
    Being President

  • These days, it's all about who's trolling or doing this to Trump on Twitter ...

  • Why, it's one of Trump's favorite programs (as of this post) on which he dumps much praise.

  • There's no denying that Trump's rallying base want jobs and immigration reform in addition to being fiercely loyal supporters of The Donald.

  • Need I type more?

  • Bannon, Breitbart and the repackaging of hate and divisiveness.

  • #BorderCrossing and securing our borders

  • That time when Trump defended his current inauguration crowd size numbers being superior to Obama's during his previous inauguration which was further supported by press secretary, Melissa Mc ... Spicer: "This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration — period."

Or when former First Lady Michelle Obama advised @ the DNC what she and President Barack Obama instill in their daughters and how they "explain that when someone is cruel, or acts like a bully, you don't stoop to their level — no, our [their] motto is, when they go low, we go high."

  • aka Counselor to POTUS, Kellyanne Conway;

Director, Howard Hawks insisted on using rapid-fire, overlapping dialogue throughout the film and noted in an interview, "I had noticed that when people talk, they talk over one another, especially people who talk fast or who are arguing or describing something. So we wrote the dialog in a way that made the beginnings and ends of sentences unnecessary; they were there for overlapping."

Essential viewing for any Trump surrogate interested in learning how to pivot in any and all media-related appearances and interviews.

  • Next to pivoting, this is how Trump's subordinates operate in their respective interviews - - typically inviting the impatient interviewer through aggressive and exhausting means to see the "alternative facts."

Another screening requirement as per the Trump Interview Playbook.

  • That's cold, Kurosawa ;)

  • Trump's antidote for insomnia? :: Twitter.

And per Slate columnist, Michelle Goldberg in her interview with a psychologist in private practice in Manhattan, "Victims of Trump-induced anxiety describe nightmares, insomnia, digestive problems, and headaches. Therapists find themselves helping their patients through a process that feels less like an election than a national nervous breakdown."

  • It certainly feels that way since Friday, January 20, 2017.

  • An appropriate idiom for most folks living under a Trump presidency.

  • #BorderCrossing and securing our borders #BuildTheWall

  • .... only the Presidency was accomplished through a popular vote victory as opposed to an outdated electoral college balloting mechanism.

  • No doubt to Trump's delight, the inaugural festivities of Friday, January 20, 2017 were scheduled as follows :: beginning promptly @ 9:30 AM (ET), the inauguration ceremony kicked off with musical performances by a 2010 "America's Got Talent" sensation, the Morman Tabernacle Choir and the Rockettes ... the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony commenced @ 11:30 AM through 12:30 PM ... followed by the inaugural parade (3:00 - 5:00 PM) and concluded with three official inaugural balls @ 7:00 PM that same evening.

  • According to the Washington Post (01/13/17), "The phrase first came into existence thanks to Richard Condon, who in 1959 wrote a novel by that title — “The Manchurian Candidate” — in which a platoon of decorated soldiers return from the Korean War, after being brainwashed to believe in communism. One of them has unwittingly become a sleeper agent, controlled by the communist Chinese and Soviet governments to perform a particular assassination, which will allow them to install a communist puppet dictator as U.S. president. (The comparison to Trump is derived from the thought that he might be a puppet of the Russian government.)"

  • According to Agent Orange, himself: "Well, I’ll tell you the funniest is that before a show, I’ll go backstage and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it ... I sort of get away with things like that."

  • In a Time op-ed on "Pepe the Frog," its creator, Matt Furie noted: "A smug Trump-Pepe was shared by Trump himself on Twitter in the beginning of the election race, a move I assumed was a nod to young voters. Or perhaps it was a more sinister nod to some fringe, racist groups that used Pepe as a mascot for their agenda. Or just another famous person sharing a Pepe meme because it's cool (like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj did in the past). I have no idea.

But I know this: It's completely insane that Pepe has been labeled a symbol of hate, and that racists and anti-Semites are using a once peaceful frog-dude from my comic book as an icon of hate. It's a nightmare, and the only thing I can do is see this as an opportunity to speak out against hate. The problem with Pepe is that he's been stamped a hate symbol by politicians, hate groups, institutions, the media and, because of them, your mom. Before he got wrapped up in politics, Pepe was an inside-joke and a symbol for feeling sad or feeling good and many things in between. I understand that it's out of my control, but in the end, Pepe is whatever you say he is, and I, the creator, say that Pepe is love."

  • #Melania

  • On Day 2 of Trump's presidency, millions of people join Women's March protests around the globe #WomensMarch

  • ... that may truly matter in Trump's position, anyway, is son-in-law, Jared Kushner, currently Senior Advisor in the Trump Administration who has played a considerable role in the Trump campaign in addition to being a collector of chess-sets, a balloon animal craftsman and licensed minister. As of January, 2017, Kushner has been charged with the following monumental duties: brokering peace in the Middle East; streamlining the entire federal government; combating opioid abuse and reforming the Veterans Affairs system; negotiating criminal justice reform; serving as a "shadow diplomat;" and discussing the military battle against ISIS with officials in Iraq.
