Matthew B. Karush is a professor of history at George Mason University. He is a specialist in modern Argentine history and the author of several books, including Musicians in Transit: Argentina and the Globalization of Popular Music (Duke University Press, 2017) and Culture of Class: Radio and Cinema in the Making of a Divided Argentina, 1920–1946 (Duke, 2012).
