Alex Zucker

Alex Zucker’s translation of Jáchym Topol’s latest novel, The Devil’s Workshop, received an English PEN Award for Writing in Translation and will be published by Portobello Books in 2013. In 2012, he received a literature fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts to work on a translation of Markéta Lazarová. That translation, which he quotes from here, is still in progress.
