Limited-edition fine-art print by Bill Sienkiewicz, featuring his artwork for the Criterion Collection release of Byron Haskin’s Robinson Crusoe on Mars.

This first edition of one hundred prints was made with a digital fine-art printing method known as giclée, which produces an apparent resolution higher than that of a lithograph, and a range of color equal to that of a serigraph. It is printed on archival-quality acid-free paper with inks designed to last up to two hundred years without losing any detail or vibrancy. Each print is hand-signed by the artist.

ABOUT BILL SIENKIEWICZ
Boleslav (William) Felix Robert Sienkiewicz (sin-KEV-itch), usually referred to simply as Bill Sienkiewicz, is a visual artist probably best known for his unique and recognizable work on various comic books, notably Marvel Comics’ Elektra: Assassin and his own Stray Toasters, as well as many album covers, magazine illustrations, and other media. Sienkiewicz often utilizes oil painting, collage, mimeograph, and other forms generally uncommon in comic books. Some critics have suggested the influence of abstract and expressionist art on Sienkiewicz’s work. His use of unconventional media and his heightening of the comic cover as a stand-alone artwork have had a major influence on the style of comic illustration from 1980 onward.
