These are some of the films I try to get my wife and all my friends to watch. Sadly I haven't convinced them yet but thats the life of a cinephile, these aren't in any order, just need to be watched!
It's just so good. I don't think people like David Fincher would be as good as they are without this film.
Theres nothing I could say here that all of you reading this don't already know about this classic. It's just such a sad and true film.
Same as Bicyle Thieves.
Kubrick without much experience or money and still being great. Also a great piece of 1950's work, I love the 1950's in film.
Renoir is great
Weirdly enough an old roommate of mine watched this with me after he told me how much he didn't like black and white movies. He ended up loving it
Everyone's seen Seven Samurai and Rashoman but I really like Kurosawa's non samurai movies like this, Ikiru, Stray Dog..well you get the point
I wrote a paper over these three last year and had to watch them back to back, man they are depressing but still so good.
Cassavetes tells great stories
So good so creepy
I love the monsters in this
There should be more Hitchcock on here so I could put them all on this list
