I wish I could put Nashville on this list. Nashville would be #1. To say 3 Women will have to do wouldn't be fair. This film is fascinating and unsettling, with brilliant performances by Spacek and Duvall.

A landmark in gay cinema.

Might be the perfect combination of the French New Wave sensibilities of Truffaut and Godard.

It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
