    1) James Caan's swagger appeal. 2) The gritty, grimly-lit streets that surround the film. 3) Tangerine Dream's haunting, sensual score.

    1) The realism of the safecracking, it looks real because it is. 2) Fantastic screenplay by Mann. 3) James Caan in one of his best performances.

    1) Realistic & excellent performances by entire cast (Belushi's best ever). 2) Chicago looks great (and gritty). 3) Scene towards the end where Robert Prosky's character show's his true colors.

    1. One of the greatest written scenes in the history of film between Caan and Weld in the diner. 2. The power of not being owned/controlled...Caan/Prosky relationship. 3. Caan's performance.
