Because it allows you to imagine how great the film could have been if Lubitsch directed the original stage stars Alfred Lunt, Lynn Fontanne, and Noel Coward.
Because of the pajamas buying scene.
And because below average Lubitsch is still better than almost anything else.

More Miriam Hopkins! Ernst Lubitsch considered La Hopkins his favorite Actress, and proved it by the number of his films in which she is the Star! A boxed set of their collaborations would be a welcome treat indeed!
I enjoyed the brief HD clips from The Smiling Lieutenant and Trouble in Paradise in one of the supplements. Howzabout a blu-ray upgrade for Troubles in Paradise sometime in 2012? I'd like to see that!
