Brown

Collecting Criterion since the year 2000. Jack Lemmon fan, Albert Finney fan. Jerry Lewis in King of Comedy fan. Ruth Gordon in Rosemary's Baby fan. Would like to see Chris Ware illustrate and design a release for Criterion. I think The Golden Age of Television is one of Criterion's finest releases. Fan of Noir, British films and classic Hollywood cinema amongst others. Films that are not in print that I would like to watch: Distant Voices, Still Lives, It Always Rains on Sunday, The Outfit, the Offence, A Thousand Clowns, A Room For Romeo Brass, California Split just to name a few.

  • Favorite director: Woody Allen, Billy Wilder, Mike Leigh, Powell and Pressburger, Cassavettes, Kubrick..etc
  • Favorite Criterion edition: Rosemary’s Baby
  • Most wanted in the collection: Charley Varrick, Save the Tiger, The Apartment, Local Hero, Night of the Iguana, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, A Matter of Life and Death, In a Lonely Place, The Long Goodbye, River's Edge, The Wicker Man (1973) and Topkapi
