The Criterion Collection

I still remember the day I started to love film as an art form. It was Christmas night 1999 at my friends house and he put on "And The Ship Sails On" by Fellini. I had never seen a film like this before, and had always considered foreign films to be challenging at the time. The first foreign film I bought was 8 1/2, the criterion copy of course. I have always loved film since I was young, but mostly american fare. I really got into the Criterion Collection about 2002, and have been addicted to the cinema they present ever since. Thanks Criterion my life shall be forever changed!
