I'm a bit of a newbie as far as Criterion goes. I think I've only seen about 20 films in the collection and I only have 30 of the films in the collection on DVD. So I guess I'm not as hardcore as a lot of you guys. I would like to be a filmmaker in the future. It would be fantastic to get a movie in the collection, but I have no idea if my artistic ability is anywhere near enough for that. A girl can dream though. I like foreign-language coming-of-age films, anything from the French New Wave, quirky indie comedies, films about mental illness... pretty much any movie that can hold my attention for more than twelve minutes, really.
