The Criterion Collection

I'm a movie junkie. I grew up going to the video store every weekend throughout the year and nearly every day during the summer. My late Uncle Lee showed me the glory of Hitchcock and Laurel & Hardy, my Mom the fun of old monster movies, my college film class the appreciation of all kinds of movies and the Criterion Collection showed me the wonders of film. My first Criterion DVD was "Seven Samurai" and it holds a special place in my heart. One day I hope to see more Hitchcock in the Collection and my dream Collection release would be to see Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy be the first comic book based films in the Collection (they BELONG in the Collection!). I can't wait to see what the future holds for the Criterion Collection.
