I'm 24 years old, I love movies of almost any type, I am an independent filmmaker, and I have a strong belief in God. ---- Akira Kurosawa, John Ford, Yoji Yamada, Fritz Lang, Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, Frank Capra and Hayao Miyazaki are the biggest influences on my film work, with Akira Kurosawa and John Ford holding a particularly dear place in my heart. As of late I've also become a fan of Wes Anderson, although I'm doubtful of what influence, if any, he will have on my work. I believe that while films should be thought provoking they should also be "fun" to watch. If a film bores me in any way then I feel the film has failed in some fashion. If you want to check out my work then head over to my YouTube channel:

  • Favorite director: Akira Kurosawa
  • Favorite Criterion edition: Seven Samurai
  • Most wanted in the collection: A Yoji Yamada movie. I don't even care which one (although The Hidden Blade would be pretty terrific).
