I am relatively new to Criterion, but I am a huge fan! I discovered my first Criterion title, Night and Fog, by searching the internet. However, my first real exposure to the collection came more recently when I became a college student. My college's library has almost all of the films on the current British Film Institute top 100 list, many of them Criterion titles. I recently completed an Introduction to Film course with honors, but would very much enjoy taking director-specific courses on Ingmar Bergman and Stanley Kubrick. My favorite Criterion title is The Seventh Seal, but I am open-minded to most everything in the collection. I greatly appreciate Criterion's dedication to publishing high-quality editions of lesser-known films that deserve to be seen. Many great films would not be available on video were it not for Criterion.
