I grew up during the VHS boom. I was a video store rat, scanning shelves and video box art. My filmic interests are wide and varied. This is one reason I love the Criterion Collection, their film catalogue is unparalleled when it comes to selection. Seems like I've been collecting Criterions since I've been collecting DVDs. If Criterion had been making VHS tapes, I'm sure I would of started there (I missed the whole laserdisc thing..). I write about films and such here (check it out): squealingtiresondirt.blogspot.com
