The Criterion Collection

I have been proclaimed by my friends as a "movie snob". I'm particular about what films I watch (or spend my money on) but I'm not above your run of the mill mainstream summer blockbusters. The Criterion Collection has become a fascinating exploration of film for me. Most of these films (among my peers anyway) have never been seen and are unlikely to be viewed by them. I like that I have my Criterion Collection as an indulgent secret. My favorite directors are Stanley Kubrick, Sam Peckinpah, Christopher Nolan, Alfred Hitchcock and Quentin Tarantino and have seen most if not all of their films.
