So. The Spear-Danes in days gone by and the kings who ruled them had courage and greatness. We have heard of those princes' heroic campaigns. My story is neither heroic nor regal. I am a 28-year-old cinephile with a background in literature and philosophy. After numerous attempts to gain a foothold in prose literature, I threw up my hands and devoted myself to my first artistic love, cinema. I have a lovely spouse and wonderful infant daughter, who I intend to show The Red Shoes as soon as she has the attention span to sit through a film.
