I am an artist with a pretty heavy film addiction. I feel that cinema can be the ultimate artform. I am partial to French, Japanese & Russian cinema, plus American films on the outskirts of Hollywood. I am most attracted to imagery that has a dreamlike quality. Some of the other directors that share the top of my list include: Jean-Luc Godard ('60s films); Werner Herzog; David Lynch; Terry Gilliam; Wes Anderson; Stanley Kubrick; Akira Kurosawa; Yasujiro Ozu.
