I was first introduced to The Criterion Collection in 2011 by Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line. I love their dedication to preserving movies. How the heck can you limit yourself to 10?
This is turning into my favorite movie of all time. What a beautiful story. The scene towards the end when old Daisy is walking holding Benjamin's hand & she bends down to kiss him gets me every time.
When I first saw this movie years ago I had no idea who Terrence Malick was. All I kept thinking was WOW. Now he is my favorite director. I love all of his films. This is by far the greatest war movie.
2 words: Breathtaking. Gorgeous.
Probably the greatest road trip movie ever. Sorry Il Sorpasso
What a classic. This movie is full of great quotes and one-liners.
What a well told & beautifully shot film. Such great imagery.
Not sure what I liked more the soundtrack or the movie itself.
So raw & gritty.
