Sometimes the Criterion Collection confuses disgust for art. Here are just a few examples of movies that are just gross for grossness sake.

    If Armageddon made this list I think RoboCop could for it's acid scene. WR, House, and In the Realm of the Senses would be good add ins too. Great list though!

    Provoking, somewhat disturbing images should have their place in art (maybe where they can't be seen) but I agree with some of these picks that seem only interested in pulling at the viewers stomach and making them feel uncomfortable. Although Videodrome is a masterpiece. Armageddon just makes me feel ill and fiend without a face is a classic bad B-movie. So I'm conflicted. Nice list.
