Wonderful. I've been both a "Mad World" and "Mad magazine" fan practically all of my life. This will be a great Criterion package!

I just wrote Jack a couple of weeks ago and he signed a book for me me. He drew a little caricature inside and wrote 89 beside of it, can't believe he's 89 years old. He's my favorite and a nice guy also.

I was more than a great surprise to see new Jack Davis illustrations. When I grew up comics were the funny papers. To see a comic book artist work for mainstream periodicals gave validation to our love of comics. I searched for new work by the master and could not find anything. I guessed Mr. Davis completely retired for health reasons. I did not know he was still at the inkwell for the most pleasant of surprises. Thank-you Criterion and Jack Davis for reminding us: "It's a Mad Mad, Mad Mad World. :)

Jack Davis at 89 can still deliver great cartoon figures with a punch. Yesterday I read Jack drew the latest album cover for indie rockers Sex Clark Five. Monsters with musical instruments chasing little horrified people. Brilliant in the way Jack always delivers. I hope he becomes a centurian.
