Iggy Pop Talks Repo Man

Repo Man comes on like a bat out of hell. The opening credits are driven by the instrumental version of Iggy Pop’s propulsive "Repo Man Theme,” a song that immediately establishes the film’s punk identity. It’s hard to imagine the movie without it. For our new release of Repo Man, Pop sat down with us for a rare interview about his experiences working on Alex Cox’s cult classic. The candid chat with this charming man can be seen in its entirety on the Blu-ray and DVD editions; here’s a short clip, in which he talks about first meeting Cox and explains that the Repo Man assignment came at a perfect moment in his career.
