Blast of Silence in The New York Times

This week, Dave Kehr's "New DVDs" column in The New York Times spotlights Allen Baron's New York noir: "Blast of Silence, coming out Tuesday in a very good edition from the Criterion Collection, stands out even in this field for its elemental style and relentlessly bleak vision....
