It just so happens that you can catch two of the classic comedies from our new Presenting Sacha Guitry Eclipse set on the big screen this coming week at New York’s Museum of Modern Art: the singular centuries-spanning saga The Pearls of the Crown (August 1 and 2) and the frothy four-sided romance Quadrille (August 5). And that’s the perfect way to start off our repertory roundup, which features Criterion favorites—including (of course) some Kurosawa—on big screens from Boston to Boise.
